I started working on the Sagicor Visionaries Challenge in November 2011 during the Caribbean Science Foundation’s (CSF) Governing Council meeting held in Barbados at Sagicor’s Office in Wildey. A core group of us from Sagicor, CSF & CXC, met over the next eight months to flush out the challenge. As a visiting research scientist with the Caribbean Science Foundation during my 2012/2013 sabbatical, I was the CSF leader for the challenge.
